Injection Molding

Overmolding with plastic keeps the otherwise unstable screen mesh in the desired shape. Only then is stable installation in a housing often possible.

Technical filter elements as non-visible parts are usually manufactured in raw white or black. In some cases, colored granules are also used as masterbatch. Depending on the material, we use molds with hot runner technology.

At present, we mainly produce inserts for the automotive, sports / outdoor and aviation sectors.

We design our tools in cooperation with experienced, certified toolmakers according to your needs and requirements.

For our insert-molded filters we mainly use the following plastics:

• Polyamide 6
  partly fiber-glass reinforced
• Polypropylene
• TPE-Polypropylene

We manufacture on Arburg injection molding equipment with following specifications:

• Vertical and horizontal production
• Locking pressure up to 250 kN
• Maximum tool mounting dimensions 380 x 380 mm
• Apparent density maximum 65g
